At HMV we designed the 110 kV San Lorenzo - Calizas phase II and Urabá - Nueva Colonia - Apartadó transmission lines.
At HMV we execute consultancy for designs, technical and environmental studies, associated with the execution of expansion, remodeling and / or modernization projects of EPM's electrical infrastructure, specifically the design of the following transmission lines:
Transmission line San Lorenzo - Calizas phase II at 110 kV, has a length of 35.7 km and comprises 65 single-circuit structures and four double-circuit structures. It is important to highlight that this project is located in an area of ??sensitive ecosystems with protected flora and fauna. Thanks to our work together with SAG - Servicios Ambientales y Geográfico S.A., we managed to minimize the environmental impact in these areas and the environmental licensing of the project for EPM. This was achieved by optimizing the location of the tower sites, using LIDAR technology for surveying, applying the experience of managing environmental databases and designing support structures between 30 m and 80 m in height, which increase the distance from the conductors. to the different forest covers and decreases the total volume of trees to be affected in the right-of-way strip of the line.
Urabá - Nueva Colonia - Apartadó at 110kV, has a length of 36.2 km and comprises 143 support structures, of which 96 are single-circuit structures, 17 double-circuit structures and 27 single-circuit metal poles.
As a novelty, they were used in a section of the line, of metal posts and a conductor of high temperature and low arrow (HTLS), type ACCC 292.7 kcmil, in order to reduce efforts on the posts and guarantee the safety distance of the line to the floor.
In December 2020, the project was completed and on the same date, CORPURABA granted EPM the environmental license for the Urabá - Nueva Colonia - Apartadó line.
At HMV we continue working to promote the development of our regions.
