Position: Protection Specialist
Job Objective: Lead and execute the configuration, logic programming, implementation of adjustments, testing (FAT/SAT/SIT), and commissioning of protection schemes for 230 kV substation projects, ensuring compliance with detailed engineering specifications, the Protection Setting and Coordination Study (EACP), and current SIN regulations.
Education: Degree in electrical engineering or related field
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in the commissioning of protection relays for extra-high-voltage substations (220 kV or higher).
Specific Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in configuration, testing, and commissioning specifically related to line protection and busbar differential protection in 220 kV or higher substations. This experience must be verifiable with the following brands: Siemens SIPROTEC 5, Hitachi RELION 670, and SEL.
Knowledge:
-Certified knowledge of protection relays for high-voltage electrical substations.
-Proficiency in reading, validating, and injecting COMTRADE files for fault simulation.
-Ability to interpret and implement Protection Coordination Studies (EACP) and detailed engineering (schematics and control logic).
